Since the designation of Harlow as a new town in 1947 and throughout its subsequent growth, the siting of sculpture in public places has been viewed as integral to the development of the town. Sixty years on Harlow now has a collection of national significance including works by Rodin, Moore, and Hepworth. It is therefore fitting that The Friends of Harlow Sculpture Collection join in with Harlow’s 60th Anniversary celebrations by staging 'Outside Inside', an exhibition of artworks by sculptors featured in Harlow’s collection.
To accompany the exhibition there will be talks and practical workshops by artists.
