We are currently on the look-out for couples interested in taking part in the next series which looks at getting the Dad more involved during late pregnancy, labour and beyond. We want the series to promote a positive pregnancy, birth and parenting experience for new Mums and Dads. In the series, first time Dads-to-be are shown how to be more supportive during their partners pregnancy and during the birth itself. In one to one sessions with a fully trained midwife, the Dads are taught about many aspects of pregnancy and labour including cervical dilation, pain relief, massage, breathing techniques and birthing positions. They are also given practical home work like wearing an empathy belly, looking after a robotic baby and watching a birthing video. We want to help him become the perfect birthing partner for Mum and make the whole experience more positive than petrifying!The Agony and Ecstasy of Steve Jobs

A tale of two socks: - an exhibition of original artwork from the picture book 'bocchi and pocchi' written and illustrated by Gatehouse Arts Artist Noriko Matsubara.
