SWANWICK Betty

Betty Swanwick was born in London in 1915 and died in 1989. She studied at Goldsmiths College School of Art and the Royal College of Art.

Swanwick lived in Sussex and in later years she painted primarily in watercolour. She designed posters for London Transport and Shell, and murals for various organisations.
