Pisces was in a retrospective exhibition of Watkins' sculpture, paintings and graphics held at Harlow Playhouse in 1973. A stainless steel maquette was included in the exhibition but as the full-size Pisces was rather large for the gallery, it was shown at the Water Garden in the Town Park. As it fitted so well with its surroundings, it was retained by Harlow District Council after the exhibition.
