The Square is Harlow's Live Entertainment Venue with a 30 year history at the heart of the music scene in the town, and offers a varied programme of events across a wide range of musical genres to appeal to all ages within our community.
The Square operates an open door policy - all ages and no dress code. We believe no more in uniform dress, than we do uniform thinking and in the past this has ensured that there has always been a great mix of ages, social groups, cultures and fashions - all with something to offer and all welcome.
It's not just about the shows though - The Bar is open Wednesday to Sunday daytimes from 1pm and it is our hope that people will drop by and enjoy a drink, a game of Pool or Pinball and maybe form a band or two... well, it's happened before!
In addition to the live music and social scene at The Square, we can offer a fully equipped Recording Studio & Video Suite for hire and Rehearsal space, as well as training opportunities for those who are interested in a career in the music business, as a musician or a technician. The Square also continues to house the successful Rock School project.
