Staple Tye
Staple Tye is situated in the south-west area of the town, built between 1959 and 1972. Staple Tye industrial estate was completed in 1973, housing small factories and small business units. Staple Tye neighbourhood shopping centre was originally a rectangular building with around 30 shopping units on a deck above the service road. However in the 1990's Staple Tye was regenerated into a shopping centre with around 20 shops and the service yard behind it out of sight.
