Centre Stage Productions

Meets: For rehearsals various locations in Harlow
Activities: For 16 yrs upwards. All types of plays, various musical events, play readings and workshops. Centre Stage works to a high standard offering opportunities to talented newcomers to seasoned performers. We will always add you name to our register. Livewire

Meets: For weekly workshops on Monday evenings, 7-9pm
Activities: Livewire is a young people's theatre group that engages young people between the ages of 13 and 18 in a regular proramme of theatre workshops. The Young people learn and develop their theatrical skills in order to devise their owe piece of interactive theatre that they take out to local primary schools as part of the Summer Tour. Livewire also runs Theatre Challenge, a week long theatre project in the summer holidays.

Moot House Players

Meets: From September to July mainly to work on productions at Moot House, The Stow, Harlow.
Activities: To present five full scale theatrical productions each year with possible other small scale productions. open mainly to 15yrs and upwards. Especially welcome-interested and experiences adults wanting to explore their technical, acting and firecting potential in a challenging semi-professional environment. Members are required to join the Mark Hall and Netteswell C.A. and if involved in acting in a production rehearsal fees (reduced fees for the unwaged). Razed Roof


Meets: Thursdays (term time only) at the Playhouse
Activities: Razed Roof is an inclusive performing arts group for people with and without disabilities and learning difficulties. The group has been formed to create opportunities for performance work and for productions, accompanied by workshops co-facilitated by the participants.

Youth CREATE

Meets: In Sawbridgeworth Tuesdays (4-9yrs) 5-7pm, (14-25yrs) 7.30 -8.30pm; Thursdays (10-13yrs) 6.15 -8.15pm.
Activities: Drama, music, movement, singing, arts and crafts creating , performing and much more. The emphasis is on confidence building, skills development and having fun. Older members perform regularly to a paying public and younger members demonstrate their work informally at the end of each project. Youth CREATE runs theme-based courses during school holidays as well as one-off specials such as video courses, music technology and issue-based projects. They can also offer tailor-made workshops aimed at specific target groups, such as young offenders, those excluded from school, young people at risk of offending etc
