Town Centre North Development

This is a major regeneration programme for the northern parts of the town centre focusing on the Market Square and Westgate areas.

The redevelopment will provide new shops, businesses and homes alongside transformed public spaces, a new bus interchange, new library and entertainment facilities. Between 3,500 and 4,000 full-time jobs will be generated along with significant part-time opportunities and will secure existing employment within the town centre. The scheme represents the most comprehensive investment in Harlow's future since the deliver of Sir Frederick Gibberd's original masterplan.
